Commencing her journey in Rabindra Sangeet under the loving tutelage of her father, Maitreyee later pursued professional training under the esteemed Smt. Sanghamitra Gupta, a renowned Rabindra Sangeet artist and retired professor of Viswa Bharati. This comprehensive training has honed her exceptional vocal skills, allowing her to deliver captivating renditions of Rabindra Sangeet, Atulprasad, Rajanikanta, D.L. Roy, and various other Bengali songs.
